Description
The KY-012 Active Buzzer Module is a compact sound-producing component that’s perfect for adding alerts, alarms, and audio feedback to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other microcontroller-based projects.
Unlike passive buzzers, the KY-012 includes a built-in oscillator, so it produces a continuous tone when powered—no need to generate frequencies with code.
This module is ideally suited for applications such as alarm systems, timers, simple notifications, and sound signalling, where a consistent beep or tone is required with minimal coding.
Its small form factor and simple 3-pin interface make it easy to integrate into compact builds or breadboard circuits.
