Description
The KY-009 RGB SMD LED Module is a compact, full-colour light-emitting diode perfect for adding vibrant, multicolour output to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller projects.
It features a 5050 surface-mount RGB LED capable of producing red, green, and blue light—either independently or in combination for millions of colour variations.
This module is ideally suited to projects that require colour indication, lighting effects, status LEDs, or any kind of visual user feedback.
Thanks to its 3-channel control pins, you can adjust the brightness of each colour using PWM (pulse-width modulation), giving you total control over the output colour and intensity.
