KY-033 module uses an IR transmitter and receiver that will detect how reflective the surface is in front of the module.
It has a potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity of the module so it can detect if the surface is black or white.
The obstacle avoidance sensor is distance adjustable, the ambient light sensor is adaptable, high precision, and has a pair of infrared transmitters and receivers.
The transmitter tubes emits a certain frequency of infrared when detecting the direction of an obstacle (reflector), and the infrared receiver tube receiver is reflected back when the indicator is lit.
Through the circuit, the signal output interface can be detected by means of the potentiometer knob to adjust the distance, with an effective working distance from 2cm to 40cm.
